From raw walnut, the wood is worked to accommodate the epoxy resin.
The resin needs a good bonding surface, so the wood needs to be cleaned and the bark removed.
The flatter the wood, the less resin and extra time you'll need to get a good result once the resin is dry. The wood must therefore be flattened before a made-to-measure mould can be created.

After all the manufacturing process, it's time for the finishing touches.
In this case, it's an oiled finish and a ceramic treatment on the top of the tray.
